Reflection:
1.   What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
2.   What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
3.   What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
4.   Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
The thing that I enjoyed most about this project was testing the minerals with my partner. The most challenging thing about this project was doing the video because of time I would have not finished it without the help of Ms. Kara.  The new skills that I learned was learned how to test and identify minerals. The thing that I could have done to improve my work is to mange my time will.

Our Shaking World - Narrative Video

Plate Boundary
Ali E.

Class K
Earth Science

There are 3 types of boundaries; convergent, divergent and transform.

Convergent boundary is when two plates come together. When one part moves down and the other stays on top forming Mountains and Volcano. Subduction zone is when one plate goes under another creating a volcano and trench. Deep-sea trenches Mountain building is created when part moves down and the other stays on top.

Divergent boundary is when one parts move away from each other creating a new ocean floor or rift valley.

Transform boundary is when both plates moves in both ways, back and forth. This movement creates earthquakes or a tsunami if it is under the ocean.

Tides

Tides are caused by revolution. There are two types of tides, spring tide and neap tide also tide has three levels high, low and water level. Spring tides are when the water level on earth is very high and very low; the phases of the moon are New moon and Full moon.  Neap tide is when the water level on Earth is equal the phases of the moon are 1st quarter and last quarter.
Revolution
دوران
Earth movement around the sun.
Spring tide
 جزر
When water level on Earth is very high and very low.
Neap tide
مد منخفض
When water level on earth is equal.
Full moon
بدر كامل
All moons is visible.
New moon
هلال
The moon is not   visible.
Phases of the moon
مراحل القمر
Stages of the moon.

Reflection:

I enjoyed most about this project working together with friends. And the most challenging thing about this project was creating the video. The new skills I learned from this project is creating and editing a video.

Geologic Time-Triassic Period

The Triassic is a geologic period that started on 200-248 million years ago. The most important things that happened during the Triassic period were first mammals appeared, Volcanoes’ become active and new mountains were formed in North America.http://alieljahmi.edu.glogster.com/triassic-period/

I enjoyed most about this period is making Glog and learning about different Geologic periods.
The most challenging about this project was researching because we had to research in different websites and we had to make a References.
I work with a partner and he created a video and I made a Glog.
In this project I learned many things like making Glog, Triassic period and other periods.

Stars

 Stars

Star is a very hot ball made of glowing gases. The types of stars are Main sequence, White Dwarf, Giant, and
Super Giant.

H-R diagram is a graphical tool that used to classify stars according to their luminosity, temperature and color. Nuclear fusion is when stars change gas two Hydrogen into Helium.
