Geologic Time-Triassic Period

The Triassic is a geologic period that started on 200-248 million years ago. The most important things that happened during the Triassic period were first mammals appeared, Volcanoes’ become active and new mountains were formed in North America.http://alieljahmi.edu.glogster.com/triassic-period/

I enjoyed most about this period is making Glog and learning about different Geologic periods.
The most challenging about this project was researching because we had to research in different websites and we had to make a References.
I work with a partner and he created a video and I made a Glog.
In this project I learned many things like making Glog, Triassic period and other periods.

Stars

 Stars

Star is a very hot ball made of glowing gases. The types of stars are Main sequence, White Dwarf, Giant, and
Super Giant.

H-R diagram is a graphical tool that used to classify stars according to their luminosity, temperature and color. Nuclear fusion is when stars change gas two Hydrogen into Helium.

  • Red
  • Forth planet from the sun.
  • Its Terrestrial.
  • Its about half size of the earth.

Interesting Facts:
  • Mars has very weak gravity
  • Does not have water.
  • It has the highest mountains on the soler system.

Hurricane Irene Project

Critical Thinking

What effect does water temperature have on the creation a hurricane?

Hurricanes form by the warm temperature   of the ocean.

Why would there be more damage to an area during high tide?

There would be more damage to an area during a high tide because gravity keeps the water on the earth.

If an area is fully saturated, how will this be more dangerous for an area?

There will be more floods because there is a lot of water.

Why would there be more flooding if the ground was fully saturated?

There would be more flooding if the ground was fully saturated because there is a lot of water there.

What is something that you liked about this mini-project?
I liked the Blogger website it’s the first time for me to use it.

What was difficult for you on this project?
Nothing was difficult about this project.

What would you change about your work on this project?

I would write more information.

How did this project help you learn about Hurricane Irene?
This project helped me learn about Hurricane Irene by reading other students blogs.
